Let's see, Sarah. I'm confused. Is it realistic humor, satire, or as Ms. Friedman so aptly put it, sarcasm? Or is there now a bit of irony thrown in?
This article just convinced me that Palin did this for another chance to whine and cry.

Wow, the twist is pretty interesting. I'm sure some loons out there will find a way to "twist" the twist here. But it is what it is. Friedman has a sense of humor AND is willing to call b.s. I love the "I think it's called sarcasm" bit.
It is disgusting how left wingers make jokes of the handicapped or disabled. Some things should be off limits.

In certain ways Palin is a brilliant manipulator to divert the attention from the underlying implication of "palmgate" (that she actually needed notes on her palm to remember the answer to the pre-arranged question of the 3 important points of the Republican Party) to Poor-Persecuted- Me- Victim-of-Family Guy.
What's sad is that the baby did not even need to be brought into all of this.... and who was it that did that? Not Ms. Friedman!
Jeez, that was sort of a joke. Maybe she didn't want a family picture for all posterity with her looking like she was about to deliver.
Maybe not, but neither Sarah nor Bristol were pregnant when that photograph was taken.
