If "In God We Trust" were removed from our currency, would that make you less likely to believe in God? What do you think would happen if it were removed? What harm would it cause?
What harm is it causing to leave it there? Most people in the USA do trust in God. If they believe in God then they trust in Him.

If it bothers you to have it on your money you can send it to me. I'll take it, I like it the way it is.

I don't care. God and money seem like a really bad mix. If they do revamp coins or paper and leave it off I'm not going to complain. Others will, and loudly, but I won't.

This nation was founded on Christian values, and it should stay that way.

No matter what a whiny liberal thinks.

Uh................................................ ..it mentions 'God', in recorded history that encompasses 5,000+ names, not just one.

Seems to be quite a few whose beliefs are more fear based than trust based which is something I've never understood, this apparent need to worship a being that must be feared.

Not really trying to argue, but God is a title and not a name.....

I guess that's what I was saying in a roundabout way, "In God We Trust" refers to no specific God.

Tell that to all the Christian loonies that said all the atheists' ads on buses and billboards springing up are direct "attacks on Christianity" when they make no reference to any specific religion

You misinterpret what it means. Fear in this sense means respect. Not fear based at all but based on respect, like we respect our parents.

Of course we should. Exactly what is it we "trust" the Christian god to do for us?? It's just silly.
