Interesting. The first link goes to a "media clipping" from the FOX "News" report in the second link.

And this is dated December 2009.

The FOX "News" report states:
Democratic districts have received nearly twice as much stimulus money as Republican districts and the cash has been awarded without regard to how badly an area was suffering from job losses, according to a new study.
Where's the study? Anyone have a link to the study? Not an article about it, but the study itself?

No surprise here.

We always knew the Failed Stimulus was structured as payback for unions, cronies and party members.

The height of incompetence and liberal pork barrel spending;

Seems the reverse was true. No correlation between stimulus funding and NEED.
The truth is that many of the Republican areas and states did not ask for the money for their projects either because they hate Obama more than they like their projects or because they didn't have any projects.

Default I would no blame the Dems only...

I would not say it is the Democrats doing this, they just happen to be in control and it is not a surprise. The Republicans do the same thing. It is better to blame most politicians in general for the pork!

It was funded and done by one of those districts that don't exist...
That's why no one can find it.

Top Agencies, as reported by recipients (Oct 1 - Dec 31, 2009)

Since the MAJORITY of the stimulus JOBs are through the Dept of Education and Road/Bridge Work is a big portion of this it makes sense.

Most BIG Cities are inherently Liberal they have the most Schools and More Road Surfaces. Additionally, it doesnt hurt that there are more people there to SEE these projects.

If what OP says is true, it must be because in places like where bobby jindal lives, they keep turning down stimulus $$$ because they say they don't need it, (but they do) and they're cutting off their own noses to spite their faces. Why would that surpize anyone? No fiscal responsibilty for the 8 years before Obama, but now, they want it? Isn't that hypocrisy at it's best?

Elephant Butte beautification with stimulus dollars. ALLRIGHT!

Some people are never happy. They want wars, then they don't. Some people just cannot make up their minds, but fear mongering works on them all of the time.
