If you think about it, it has got to be one of the worst jobs in the world.

You get all the blame when congress screws up (and they make the laws and regulations), you have the weight of the entire nation on your back, you have to deal with radical liberals, radical conservatives, radical anarchists. No matter where you go, there will always be someone, somewhere that hates your guts.

Anyone that wants that job has got to be nuts, if you ask me.

Presidents get ridiculed for everything they do whether its positive or negative. And the way all presidents aged by stress is something to prepare for.

For the most part I would say no. But the Presidential Pension is for life. Work 4 or 8 years and be set? There is appeal in that.
