He was certainly p**ssed. Hate to say it but wonder if he felt his only solution for the future of his family was this so insurance would be paid.

It sounds like he was trying to scam the system from the get go. Did I misread or did he actually try to declare himself a "church" to avoid paying taxes? He must have been on the IRS **** list from that point on.

Insurance companies don't pay for arson plus he would have made sure they were out of the house if he didn't intend to kill them.
