Yes. The father of the child is of native American heritage. Some Alaskian tribe but I cannot remember the name off-hand. Yup'ik ancestry. I guess they are not exactly considered American indian but native Alaskian tribes.

The point is not whether or not Bristol can afford to bring her child to a private doctor or if she is legally entitled to get socialized care for him. The point is that Sarah Palin speaks of "death panels" and if she truly believed in the inadequacies of socialized programs, why wouldn't she insist that her grandson be taken to a facility that she can well afford to pay for? You must see the hypocrisy.

Recently released documents from the custody battle show clearly Tripp Palin Johnston has socialized health care through Indian Health Services and the Alaska Native Medical Center.

Palin's family has federally funded health care afforded to them...but if you had it Barack Obama might kill you. Put this on the list of Palin's Greatest Hypocritical Hits...volume 97.

Shannyn Moore: More Palin Hypocrisy: Tripp Has Government Provided Health Insurance

And hasn't Palin made millions of dollars this year? Why is she taking public assistance for her family? Why should the public be paying for the health care of a millionaire's grandson?
One more brick in the wall of self-serving hypocrisy that Palin continues to build around herself...

Only the father of the baby and the baby would be legally entitled to any indian programs. What I see and the only real facts anyone has is Sarah Palin is not the parent and cannot insist anything. Where is the hypocrisy?

I live where there are many indians and some very wealthy indians they cntinue to accept the programs they are entitled to. It;s a personal preferance and none of our business. We all know this thread has nothing to do with this baby but is nothing more than another very lame attempt to attack Sarah Palin. It's the usual display of Palin Derangement Syndrome.

You continue to miss the point. Palin railed against gov't controlled health care, yet she allows her precious grandson's health decisions to be determined the same gov't health care that she demonized, over and over again.

Do you really think that Palin is not "insisting" on everything that goes on in Bristol's life?? You can almost see the strings attached to the girls arms...

No YOU miss the point. Palin is NOT in the position to allow anything. SHE is NOT the parent and since YOU nor anyone else lives with any of the Palins, what you know is pure imagination driven by hatred.

It's not a lame attempt. Here's this woman who speaks out against socialized healthcare, how horrible and awful it is, yet wouldn't be smart enough to tell her daughter..."Y'know Bristol, if you enroll Trip, Trig (or whatever the hell his name is) in this program, it's going to make me look really bad". I mean you cannot speak out against something like this and then have your own family enrolled in it. I do not have "Palin Derangement Syndrome", (you know that the fact you titled that is just too creepy), but I do see the overt hypocrisy.

Insanity. Pure insanity driven by hatred.
