I just have to ask; Did you even bother to watch Will and listen to what he said?

20-30 minutes of your time well worth it to understand just how badly the democrats have duped so many for so long.
The recent economic news has been encouraging. The pace of contraction of output and the rate of job losses has declined.

The Stimulus Is Definitely Working?! - Forbes.com

Forbes isn't exactly known as a Left wing magazine.

You should really read articles before linking to make a point...that the article doesn't share.

Quote:
Writing in The New York Times, Robert H. Frank concludes that the stimulus is working, and that we need more of it. It is perfectly reasonable to have that as an opinion but it isn't supported by either facts or reasoning.

To claim, however, that the evidence suggests it is working--and that we need more of it--is nonsense for two reasons.
Quote:
Clearly, there is no evidence of recovery in this picture or that the stimulus has had any effect on consumption.
Take a look at the charts...and while you're at it, actually read the article you put as evidence that the Failed Stimulus is working.

Btw, that was Romer's quote the article was quoting.

No comment about the content of his speech?

Let me guess, you didn't watch.

Seriously, I think you would do well to Stay on Topic!

"George Will - this speech at CPAC is a MUST SEE. He was hilarious and right on point to the entitlement mentality of the democrats in virtually every program, policy and idea they have.
THE best speech of CPAC."

Maybe after viewing the video you can then comment intelligently... though I have my doubts since you seem to be stuck in the Bush presidency.

Blame Bush is so passe, so gauche! I'm surprised we still don't hear that tired mantra of the left... It's The Oil! doh... NOT!

when you start complaining what the wars in Iraq & Afghanistan cost us perhaps I will take you seriously.
Pork barrel? try a $125 million new embassy in Baghdad!
Sorry but if we are going to spend pork let's do it here at home and not in a nation that after we "liberated" told us to get the hell out!

Just once, I would like it if they would actually address the content, point by point and discuss how he is wrong.

I'm not happy with everything the Democrats have tried to get through, however, Republicans aren't offering anything different now, then they did in 2001 through 2009.

So, before we start pointing fingers at which party is having us in a "sad state" (which we aren't, we are better now than we were), perhaps we can come up with some new ideas, that don't follow the same plan.

Like, less taxes for everyone. Thats still what Republicans are pushing, and its obvious, that didn't work.

Maybe we can just keep taxes the same, and lower spending on things like the military.
I haven't watched any of those segments of the speech and am sure that that makes you and I even in that neither of us really knows what was said. Did you notice the word, entitlements back there. Yes dependency is the very agenda of the progressives and they have fooled a lot of people with that stuff.

Of course, along with that dependency the progressives also want to lower the abilities of our defense establishment so as to weaken the nation for the eventual turn over of our sovereignty to the UN. Take a peak at the realities here just in case.

Now that we have both done our finger pointing lets try for some bi-partisan looking at what may make things better. Is it possible that that could happen?

OK, I read the Forbes article that libs have been so crazy about lately and found that Memphis hasn't read any more of it than the title kind of like not hearing part of Will at all.

I wish some of these people would read what they post as proof before they make themselves look as bad as that. I especially love to see Christina Romer taken to task as she is in that article. I heard her claiming all the good that the Stimulus has done on Fox the other day and wondered when she will bring her head out for some air. Those graphs are nothing short of scary. How much more proof do we need to prove what the Forbes people are saying in answering the question they ask in the title.

Would you say our libs even know what that punctuation mark, ?, means?

Default Sanrene, they are afraid to watch those things

I am convinced that the best way to remain ignorant of all the facts is to ignore anything that might refute any of the things one believes and that is the reason that THEY, even delusianne who I trust most of the time won't be listening without some goading and that is what I want this to be.

I am ignorant of the words since I came here to post a new thread and looked in and I am short of time right now. I will certainly listen to them in a couple of hours, when my chores are done. In my ignorance I am even with the libs that won't take a chance of having their thinking shaken by watching those vids.
