Get mad, get glad, whatever you need to do. While we get ready to come to the end of Black History Month for 2010 I would like to express my sincere concern with the threads that continue to speak to black on black crime and how blacks continue to kill each other. Remember that all races have killed and will kill one another for a host of reasons. Although I started a thread about the ways in which we kill I have been ridiculed by many, yet I am only ridiculed because I speak to a controversial topic which is never addressed on this social network-yet we can have threads continuously that speak to blacks and their social ills, yet blacks on this network are not permitted to speak to crimes of the past or the present without being crucified for their responses. Talk about white privilege?? We create a BLACK HISTORY thread and it is ridiculed-WOW!! This is 2010 my brothers and sisters-yet we act like it is the JIM CROW period. I remain watchful and there is no doubt in my mind that a race war will soon be on the soils of AMERICA, because there is a lingering spirit that lives on this land and it is evil and it is one that does not embrace other races to equally share this land or wealth that is present-although we all have contributed out blood, sweat and tears upon it!!!

a lot of the imbeciles on here would like people to forget the 400+ years of terrorism against black people and "remind" them that the last 60 or so years since the civil rights movement should have been "enough time" for them to "get their act straight"

I dont know anyone that claims that blacks were the only race lynched.
but lets be clear, lynch may have been a typical venacular of the time, but lynching is not considered the same as hangings of today.
what your statistics and no statistics can show is the amount of times lynching was handed down to a person of color, than a alternate sentance to a "white" person.
What also is not shown or discussed is the non-punative type of lynching...a group of men gather and lynch for what ever "their" reasons. that kind of lynching was not reported to the authorities.
Lol, "swift justice" is the euphemism for lynching, eh?
