If you take Powell at his word, you must take Palin at her word.

Picking and choosing who you believe shows a definite bias.
R U 4 REAL?

Palin QUIT! PERIOD! and then proceeded to think that she can do more as a "rogue" than as a governor!

Powell was basically forced out by Dumb and DumbAzz!

For the record, I would not take Palyin to a dog show b/c out of the fear that she might lose!

And here's the proof ....

CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive - CNN Poll: Powell vs. Cheney and Limbaugh « - Blogs from CNN.com

Quote:
The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey, released Monday, suggests that 70 percent have a favorable opinion of Powell, who was Secretary of State during President George W. Bush's first term, and who served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Persian Gulf War.

In poll numbers released Thursday, 37 percent say they have a favorable opinion of Dick Cheney, with 55 percent indicating they hold an unfavorable view of the former vice president.

I misread the title. Should we lay off Obama, yes we should just as he layed off 10% of the work force. Perhaps in 2012 we can lay him off

yes, Barack Obama personally laid every single worker off ... yep, those pink slips were signed by him, personally. He told all of those bosses to lay those workers off.

Get a grip.

Sounds an awful lot like a justification to me. Quitting is quitting, regardless of the excuses you make.

Tell the rest...they were HIS comments and were merely not discouraged by his president.

Are you for real, or just had to much liberal-aide to drink?

All Powell had to do is follow policy but felt, as an un-elected government employee, that he had the right to make policy. Then he quit when he didn't get his way.

BTW, you use of name calling and derogatory references just shows how weak your argument truly is.
