Oh that was stupid, but to take away his metal was a bit much. But again, stupid and disrespectful of the games.
I agree, but I can see both sides...It is very disrespectful and brings down the entire picture we share of the Olympic athletes. yes, he was having fun, yes, he earned the medal, but people need to learn, in life there are consequences for stepping over the line. Too many feel, I can do anything I want, to HELL with respect for others...

Actually, kids need to be kids.
Anybody who claims they made no mistakes as a kid is one of two things:

Ugh come on are you really that offended by what some young kids did with HIS metal? And do you really view the ENTIRE Olympic games differently now?

1) Very boring
2) A liar
I totally agree, but a 22 year old Olympian (spelling?) needs to use better judgement. There is a time and place for everything, this was not the time nor the place.

Do I? No, not really but see my last remark. There are times when things are in poor taste, this certainly was one of them. This is not saying he should have been stripped of his medal, but sent home< yes..
Man, I was expecting the pictures to show something bad for this to be an issue.
Yes the young lady in question (as well as the men around her) is doing something childish and in bad taste. But they were goofing off being silly.
There is no nudity. We don't know from the picture if there was even actual touching.
I mean- really - if that's all it takes to be labled a "skank" than I am guessing that 80% or more of college-age women (and 99% of the men)would qualify.
(What was wrong with her "biting" the medal? Isn't that sort of the old joke to see if it was really gold?)
Ah, well. There but for fourty extra years go I. He is a youg man and she a young woman. If they don't get laid the're fools.
Stocking up with a mere 100k prophalictics should take care of the first couple of nights. Then I wonder what they would do?
