Once again another example of a feisty feroine fighting the good fight against the old boys club.

"Bair’s judgment, in every case listed, was better than Geithners. EVERY SINGLE TIME."

These cats are just making a mess of everything. Maybe we need more kitties.

"Bair has battled with Geithner and fellow regulators over aid to Citigroup Inc. and other emergency actions, making her enemies in the Bush administration."

Is Sumners a chauvinist pig?

Would we be better off if women dominated our financial system?

Once again, the ladies are stepping up when it comes to financial reform.

Sheila B is speaking up for a strong Consumer Financial Protection Agency.

Too bad I can't say the same for Dodd or this creep.

And once again, Obama seemingly is dropping the financial ball by allowing another Sumnerite into the admin, hopefully Cantie will hold his feet to the fire.

Her outspokenness and the lack of from the O-Team does not sit well with me and many potential Nov. voters.

"It's all perfectly legal, but in my opinion its a scam, and we ought to have these regulated and on exchanges and have transparency and go through clearing houses," Cantwell said."

whenever they create agencies like this, the people go to sleep instead of doing their homework. madoff victims thought that the sec was doing its job and many, failed to do the correct due dilligence. i never used to read the fineprint on anything before. nowadays, after being burnt a few times, i do a duty to myself and do the necessary research before i buy, invest, loan, borrow, sell, insure etc.

consumer agencies like the above always have problems which slip through, they create a minefield of red tape, which drives up cost and they encourage apathy
