Man, looks like everything in America is up for sale.

Justice does have a price.

This is a major under reported crisis in the US.

This is why I think an Amendment in the Constitution for optional public campaign funds for candidates is necessary for the protection of our democracy, or what's left of it.

We are now a completely corporatist state.

The flavor?

Fascist.

I was surprised just how much big business can influence our judicial system.

This show was a real eye opener, you betcha.

It ain't over yet, there are many people fighting to save our democracy (http://www.callaconvention.org/pages/call-for-a-convention/ - broken link).

What we need is an Amendment for optional public campaign funds at ALL levels of government and a strong social stigma for those that are against.

I've never understood why judgeships should be elected positions. I think the report said that judges are elected by the people in 38 or 39 states. How in the world can you have an impartial judge when he or she is subject to the whims of the voters?

The country would be better off if Congress would have confirmed that cleaning woman Bush first nominated to the Supreme Court, rather than the Roberts straight A student who always got his homework in on time.

U-Dodd to the rescue?

This is just what the doctor ordered.

I will be calling my Congressmen and other officials to support this.
