For example, Obama signed the upcoming Chevrolet Cruze (a compact that's expected to be able to achieve 40 mpg) and dubbed it "the car of the future" (You can check out the full story of leftlanenews.com) Now there's no doubt in my mind that he probably thought he was signing the Chevrolet Volt (which shares the Cruze's platform) but people have already left comments critisizing him of bailing out GM, how he's a bad president, etc.

Of course, everyone critisizes his universal health care ideas. But why such vehement criticism? The man is simply doing his job - trying to protect the American public. If someone can't afford health care on their own, why shouldn't the government have a plan for those people? Should we simply let them die? UHC (Universal Health Care) is no more socialist than Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. If you want to get even more tecnical, the FDA, EPA, SEC, etc are all socialist groups since they take away freedom from Americans. Yet, we somehow fail to complain about these government programs and agencies, so why bash health care? Honestly, I (and probably the rest of the American public) don't fully understand the scope of what UHC will do to America; however, that's no reason to throw blind critisisms over something. It's also not a reason to throw blind praise about it either.

People will always find something to complain about. I just find it odd how strongly many people (mainly on the Internet, where they are basically anonymous) disapprove of Obama. What exactly has he done to deserve this negative criticism?

No other answer other than their guy (and Wasilla hillbilly gal) lost the election in 2008. They can't be American and shut the hello up, and accept the democratic process. They kick, scream, and whine just like spoiled brats. The best thing to do is to ignore them and keep up with the goals that the majority of Americans want. In addition to that, God forbid that the Old Boys Club doesn't have "one of their own" in the Whitehouse.

Yes, the Left was so good at not doing that themselves...you know, being American, shutting up and accepting the democratic process. Not kicking, screaming and whining like spoiled brats. Stuff like this were great examples of them not doing that.

I am all for dissent, but please avoid accusing "they" and "them" when "you" and "we" did the same thing. Hillbilly Wasilla gal? Nice.

I suggest that you and TLV view the video on the new thread called "Crap II". I laughed harder at it than at TLV's post because it is Klavan at his best and every word he speaks is truth.

I have seen a number of his video comments and I must say, he says what a lot of rational minds are thinking.

I find a lot of his comments in various topics humors because I went though a very liberal education and his "Shut up" is a blue print for the educational institutions I suffered.

You're going to have to outline those intentions because what I hear him say is admirable. I find no fault with his rhetoric, BUT he must live up to it for my support.
