So, what happens if a doctor screws up? Can you sue?
YES you can, in fact before you even think about suing a Doctor for a mistake, for example, we have in place a Govt. compensation board who pay the citizen for such things as accidents, accidents in the workplace, even for injuries caused in auto accidents or being attacked in the street.
So, what happens if a doctor screws up? Can you sue?
Yes! Take the VA as an example of UHC for instance. It is a Govt run program, so if you have a complaint about malpractice, your case goes thru Federal Court but also follows whatever that state's malpractice rules that are in effect.
......HEY,...DID EVERYONE SEE THAT PIG FLY OVER????????
Free? That's what the left is using to sell this program.
FREE!!!!!
What a steaming shovelful of horse manure!!!!!!
And you know this how????????????????????
Let me tell you some facts.............
I am Diabetic. Millions are Diabetic in the UK.
NO Diabetic pays for any Insulin or drugs or syringes or anything to do with their diabetes. I recently went into my nearest pharmacy and they gave me..free of charge a brand new top of the range blood testing machine....... for NOTHING. All of my other drugs that i get for any illness i may have are also free because being Diabetic i am EXEMPT from paying for ANY drugs.
Now don't you feel a bit Stupid?????????
Geeoro, Have you ever done any business with the US government where you perform a service and they in turn pay you?
I have a contract with the US government which I received 9 years ago. When I invoice them for services (which I am able to charge them MUCH more than the private sector for the same service) I am often paid twice on the same invoice. I usually receive the second payment 40 to 60 days later.
I use to hold onto the checks and wonder when the letter would come that they made a mistake. After a year and no letter I started depositing them in a separate account that I do not touch.
Have you tried calling them Sounds to me like your trying to pull a fast one over on Uncle Sam
