I hesitate to throw this into the mix but the woman and children are Black, which may have something to do with the perceived lack of coverage. I don't know whether if they were White it would be a bigger story or not. The locals would have highlighted it in either case.

We need to be more aware of stories as this one, no matter where they are committed.. People are People no matter if they are black, white, etc. does not matter, We all breathe sleep and eat the same. This is horrible, and sickening at the same time. This should of made National News. Nancy Grace and some others, don't care if your Black, White, Mexican, whatever color, she does not care, she has covered many a case of these kinds of stores, and i do remember some stories that have been dealth with black children who were murdered. Crime is Crime, and the murders of any human being, should not be taken lightly, no matter the reason.
