A growing militia movement convinced that President Obama will soon find an excuse to impose martial law on the US is finding scores of recruits from within the country’s law-enforcement and military community, Justine Sharrock writes in an investigative piece for Mother Jones. The “Oath Keepers” group has “established itself as a hub in the sprawling anti-Obama movement that includes Tea Partiers, Birthers, and 9/12ers”—those who believe the 9/11 attacks were an inside job.

These Militia's should not even be given a chance to expand, if they did expand then things could get real bad in the future, because they spread like cancer, the government have to be careful.
I only hope this is exaggerated. Even if I disagree with a president I sure as hell wouldn't start another Civil War. Things like this scare me, they really do.

So you want the government to target people over a perfectly legal thing? It's perfectly legal to form private militias...my state (Vermont) was created by one in fact...
As to the OP, I would expect a militia movement to find recruits who are already trained in using arms.
Not one person I know in the military likes him...his bowing to the Arabs, his efforts to repeal don't ask-don't tell, his policies in the wars that put their lives at risk (rules that block them from shooting attackers in some cases), etc. They hate him.
The militia movement of the 90's tended to attract WWII vets, so this doesn't shock me much. Attracting more cops does though.

Interesting. I know about a dozen people in the service and half of them like him (much like the country).
