Gays should leave all the children alone instead of educating them on unnatural acts.
Considering the fact that the vast majority of child molestors are male, heterosexual, married and religious.... we need to be educating children and the community at at large about the typical profile of these predators.

It is amazing how the Mathew Sheppard killers refused to address their homophobia or their belief that Mathew was an easy target to humiliate and murder because he was gay. The situation wasn't just a drug deal gone bad.

Are you sure about that? Most would never report a same sex molestation because it is such an abnormal foul event. They cannot bare more shame to be raped by the same sex.

You can't even read correctly, so you trying to engage in this debate is ridiculous. Most child molestors, whether they are molesting boys OR girls, are heterosexual men. So the whole notion of gays are child molestors trying to convert the children is ridiculous fear mongering fodder. I bet FAUX news is your ultimate source for world events.
people have a right to tell their church members how they feel about homosexuality.
they have a right to teach what they think is right and wrong as it pertains to their own congregation. stop attacking churches please.
I don't give two hoots if a Church wants to spend most of it's time preaching that they believe homosexuality is a sin according to their interpretation of the Bible. You'd think they'd have better things to do...like help the poor and needy. (Or protecting children from child molestors -a typical profile for a child molestor is male, heterosexual, married and religious)

However, I DO object to Churchs or Religious based groups (like NARTH or Focus on the Family) spreading misinformation and outright lies about homosexuality, then using tax exempt money to get involved in political hate/fear mongering campaigns against homosexuals.

I think you are projecting your own bias against gay people. The majority of child molestation cases are incestuous - by close relatives such as father, uncle, grandfather, brother, cousin, step father, then by friends of the family, neighbours, then by people in positions of trust with access to children. It's these incidents that go under-reported because the predators shame or guilt trip a child that they know into keeping silent.
When people buy into the whole anti-gay propaganda of scapegoating gays with "recruiting children" etc it allows even more children to be molested....because people are not focusing on the profile of the vast majority of child molesters. Men like good old uncle George who is heterosexual, married with children and goes to church regularly...and who molests little boys or girls.

People used to think blacks were sub-human - that they were pushing an "agenda". Same with the suffragist women.
People against them were self-righteous, but wrong. You are wrong on this. Why would God create someone who is compelled from the core of themselves to be something He hates? People use a book to justify their bigotry, but ignore all the parts about owning slaves and beating children and everything else.
I will pray that you someday find love in your heart and release this fear and hatred. Only then will you see God in everyone.
