I think that this is horrible. I doubt that Stack's widow knew anything about Joe wanting to fly his airplane into the IRS bldg. Even if she had the slightest clue, how would they prove it?
Chalk this up to bad reporting, as his heir, Hunter's widow is suing the estate. Pretty simple.
The woman who lost her husband (not Stack's wife) is do compensation. Wrongful death or something.
Like I said upthread, the proper plaintiff is Stack's estate for a number of remedies available under tort law, not his wife from whom there is no conceivable remedy.

My local news reported that she is suing so that more details about Stack's life, motivations and associations comes out into the open. I can understand that and agree we all need to know more. If that's the only way to get all the facts made public, more power to her.
By the way, you don't have a clue if Stack's wife knew ahead of time or not. They argued enough the night before for her to leave and spend the night in a hotel---public record. She could have known. She even could have called the FBI. She could have also been venting on the internet, just like her husband. The true needs to come out, one way or another.

Just saying "X is not to blame" is not a legally binding statement, that's why.
This is probably as a result of the daughter running her mouth. This is why folks need to watch what they say. I feel sorry for everyone involved, except Stacks.
maybe obama can host another beer summit for the two of them.
