Message Boards: Rest Haven For Idiots? (Congress, stats, racist, wisdom)

I like message boards but the most idiotic people seem to post and voice their views on them.


I love how people make up their own stats.

Example- 94% of whites are racists.
96% of blacks are on welfare

LOL.........

I love how folks make up their own history.

I love how folks think everything is about being Liberal or Conservative.

I love how the religious folks think not believing in my spanish friend Jesus will cause you to go to hell. Like they know if hell really exists. No one living knows if it exists.


Why do message boars bring out the worst people?

I've read a lot of good posts on message boards...nobody can give you better info than someone who has first hand experience with something. And some people are so damned smart it's scary!

But the boards do bring out the bad in some folk. Kids, drunks, idiots in general. One of my neighbors has a particular "syndrome" and he told me he has a problem with forums. He is drawn to them, but is also addicted to trolling on them even though he knows it's annoying. I think about that whenever I see ridiculous posts and wonder if those people have the same problems my neighbor does.
