Is everyone blind to the fact that both parties vote along party lines the vast majority of the time?

Partisanship runs rampant. Politicians vote the party line and the citizens are the losers. All one has to do is look at the vote on major issues,....it's seldom bi-partisan.

I find it peculiar that the reublicans are always blamed for not being bipartisan, but the democrats are never called for voting the party line. Probably has a lot to do with the media's slant toward the left.

To the liberals, bipartisanship means "abandoning your ideals/ideas, and adopting ours". The OP is just another reason why bi-partisanship will be difficult/nonexistent. There's a log in his/her eye.

I wonder if the OP would like to return to this thread, and discuss ALL of the results of the poll. Results that show that Americans are tired of partisanship from BOTH parties.

The 52 percent who say the president's not doing enough to encourage bipartisanship is up 16 points from last April.

Just over half of those questioned say the Democrats should give up more ground to achieve bipartisanship, while 43 percent want to see the GOP make more compromises.

Why didnt you post all the data? I know.. rhetoric question.. just another baseless attack against Republcians, while trying to hide the data showing its not Republicans americans blame..

Or, don't you comprehend the TOS?

I feel I went far enough in pointing out that the republican party are obstructionists and the NO party. Obama has been trying to reach across the aisle since he was elected, but the republican party has been slapping his hand.

Tomorrow, Americans will see what happens when and if the republicans have anything new to offer up for HC, during President Obama's summit.

You discuss it, I pointed it out.

Two-thirds of Americans think that the Republicans in Congress are not doing enough to cooperate with President Obama, according to a new national poll.

You are just as gullible as a Limbaugh follower.

What? You are claiming that its now a TOS violation to discuss ALL of the data? Its YOUR thread, discussing POLL results, now you dont really want to discuss the poll results, but just selective parts of the poll results?

Sorry, it doesnt work that way bud..

Seems like you're cherry-picking results to make a point. That same poll shows that Americans also hold the Dems responsible for the gridlock, and feel that the ball is in their court to make the initial moves.

Wouldn't these results show that both are actually the party of No?

Please, Hombres57, show all of us the "bipartisanship" voting on healthcare, the stimulus bills, and other pieces of major legislation.

Bipartisanship means "support by both parties". Bipartisanship doesn't mean "we'll offer our hand, but we really don't need your input,...or your support". I believe the democrat leaders have made that abundantly clear.

This administration and the democrats in power are divisive and very partisian. Try to get them to at least hear what the health experts and GOP suggest for the sham of a bill coming our way. What would the American people think of the GOP if they caved and just supported every proposal coming out of the WH? Name one little incident where Nancy Pelosi even opened her door to any GOP ideas.

Dear BUD,
No. You misunderstand again as usual, I am trying to tell you that reproducing any more of part of the story that I have already might be a violation of the TOS. But you wouldn't understand that because I've seen some graphs and photos you've posted here in the P&OC forum that were from other websites.

I don't discuss, I form an opinion, and it is this, the republican party has done just about nothing in the past 9 years to help America, and have done nothing in the past year except to stall and obstruct, which is not anything new. 2/3 of Americans think the republican party are not doing enough to cooperate, I'm one of the majority who happens to believe republicans are nothing more than a road block to progress.
