If you've followed news from Greece for the past few decades then you know that it doesn't take much for them to riot.
We've not seen widespread riots in the USA since the early 1970s and those were tame compared to what happens in places like Greece. The Rodney King riots were pretty bad, though...
This isn't to say that the USA isn't going to see increased rage among its citizens. I'm just saying we're a lot less likely to riot than people are in many other nations.
It's funny for a Greek person to read that we are more likely to riot than Americans are. It depends on how each nation perceives freedom, my friend. Having nothing against you, I would like to point out the fact that if you Americans knew that your government and senators covertly stole people's money for the sake of the wealthy, you would riot too. What goes on right now in Greece is that, despite the fact that so many millions have gone, we - the people- are asked to accept that we have to pay for something that we haven't caused. Greek people riot because they are being asked to make ends meet while getting paid less than 800 euros a month. Greek people riot in the same way that you did in order to establish equal opportunities and rights for everyone, despite their race and gender.
Our biggest mistake is the fact that we keep on voting the same two parties.

Far be it, for me to agree with any American but I live here in Europe.
The fact of the matter is that the Greek nation has a deplorable track record on matters fiscal.
Taxes are not collected/declared over there.
Greeks are busy tyring to hide money all over the place.
Corruption in greece is almost at Italian levels!
I look forward to the day when the ECB roll in to down town Athens in a panzer and put the fiscal gun to the collective Greek temple.
We're bailing you lot out, remember.
Listen to how bad the financial situation is in Europe and America. By everything I have researched, this guy does know economics. He knows all the players that have been ruining the economy worldwide.
You were out there the other week, in the middle of the action? Different reasons between the WTO and now. Now, it's because the government is going to cut a ton of services and government workers will no longer be getting a paycheck.
Yes, definitely spray yourself down with some good deodorant to smell less like troll.
