More and more leftist extremists (aka the Democrat party's base) are getting fed up with their hero's failure to enact the agenda they thought he was bringing to the White House.

Too bad, so sad. That pesky Constitution gets in the way far too often, doesn't it? Not to mention those equally-pesky American voters. Don't they know that the extreme-left leaders in Congress and the White House, know what's best for them better than they do?

I never thought there would be a silver lining to the cloud of Obama's election and the Democrat takeover of Congress. But there it is. People are so worried about the rampant power grabs being attempted by the Democrats, that they are lashing back and actually moving CLOSER to Constitutional adherence!

Fearing Obama Agenda, States Push to Loosen Gun Laws

By IAN URBINA
Published: February 23, 2010

Mr. Obama has been largely silent on the issue while states are engaged in a new and largely successful push for expanded gun rights, even passing measures that have been rejected in the past.

Obama has had to table his anti-gun stance for reasons of self preservation.
Poor guy has a hard enough time forwarding legislation that he has the popular support of within his party.

Thanks for agreeing with my point.

Those pesky voters that keep telling him, and their congressmen, that they DON'T WANT HIS SOCIALISM are making life very hard for him.

Too bad, so sad.

The Founders designed our government around the idea that, if people were given responsibility for their own government and their own fate, they would on average make better decisions than a bunch of dictatorial "leaders".

We are seeing a live demonstration of that idea here. Now that voters have found out what Obama, Reid, and Pelosi have in store for them, they are screaming a huge "NO!!!" to their congressmen... and the congressmen are backing away from voting for it. And their resistance is taking up all the time of our so-called "leaders", and keeping them from implementing other eaully unconstitutional planse in other areas, such as gun bans.

The planning and wisdom of Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Wilson et. al. is saving our nation once again.

And they're all nuts. Under Obama, gun rights have actually expanded. As the article mentions, Obama has signed bills allowing guns to be carried in national parks and in luggage on Amtrak trains. Does that sound like someone who wants to restrict the rights of gun owners?

Name one law that Obama has proposed or enacted that would restrict gun rights.

Don't be silly. Obama has pushed piles of gun control bills. Just not as president, since proposing more gun control right now would pretty much be a political atom bomb on the Democratic party.

Here's some of Obama's "good works" regarding guns.

Well, I'm sorry. I don't have a gun fetish so I can't relate to the worshipping of firearms.

Obama has not mentioned guns since becoming president and barely mentioned in on the campaign trail. Basically, guns is not an issue for him.
