Beck is definitely the kind of guy who I would like to buy a beer.

[reminds me of all the former acid heads who became Jesus freaks]

What's it take to admit your delusions?

It's extremely unethical for a person to use their alleged recovery from alcoholism as a political prop. Regardless of one's political views, using your disease as a weapon against those with whom you disagree is an insult to others who suffer from the same disease. It shows that Glenn Beck has little respect for others and is more interested in his inflated ego, a sure sign that he has not actually become sober even if he has managed to put a cork in the bottle. Sobriety, as a way of life and not merely consisting of abstinence, results in compassion, humility and tolerance, not self-serving rants against imagined enemies.

I don't believe it's unethical for someone to use their personal experience or beliefs to promote their ideas.
Beck uses his addiction as reflective logic and I commend him for doing so.
I don't agree with everything he says, but I enjoy how he inspires (annoys) so many people.

Glenn Beck: I used to be a social liberal until I discovered that being a neo-con/right-wing (pretender) and spreading hate and lies brings in high $$$$. This sobered me up. End of story. You know it, I know it, and everyone else knows it too.

You would think people would catch on to this.....

Rush, Beck, Hannity, Coulter, Frank Luntz, etc, etc have built million dollar careers off anger and hate...same goes for the other side with Olberhmann, Maddow, Huffington, Ratigan, Schuster, Maher...

they get people all riled up all the while cashing million dollar checks and all you get is a t-bag.....

Seems to me there are more liberals than conservatives on these political threads. Come on conservatives stand up and show these Libs that the Becks, Limbaughs etc are not anywhere near as bad as the Joy Behres (sp) are in there world.

By the way I am an Alcoholic in recovery so I must just be saying this as I cash my $1400.00/mo check every month with a smile.

The Liberal ones don't go all crazy like the Conservative ones do. They literally foam from the mouth, yell at callers and sued for the right to lie.

Nothing wrong with drinking (Irish Catholic here) but Beck's problem is that nose candy has gotten into his brain. Honestly, he's looney tunes. Think of Rick James if he was a rightwing political commentator and white.
