Well said Mr. Gore.
Not well said. The boards and executives who manage those scientific endeavors are definitely pro-AGW fanatics. The members are another story, like the revolt from the APS or the one going on now in the UK, from IoP.

Yet from a global perspective, it was the second-hottest January since surface temperatures were first measured 130 years ago
I take it then, that would be ogore's explanation for Lake Erie freezing over this year for the first time in 15 years? Or would it just be the heated evaporate in the southern U.S.?

Lake Erie now frozen over
241-mile stretch all ice for 1st time since 1995-96
By JOHN GUERRIERO

Take a picture of Lake Erie now, and you'll get a freeze frame.

For the first time in 14 years, the 241-mile-long lake is virtually frozen over from one end to the other.
His bs just gets so confusing.

You seem like a nice fellow and I want to help you. First off, watch this 6 minute video and this might clear up your initial confusion and help you to realize how to distinguish between weather and climate.

God knows he could not make it in buisness or public office, therefore selling snake oil has proven to suit him well.
Hey don't knock Al Gore. He along with Michael Moore have done more to scare the crap out of this country than any two individuals in history.

Why do you think there were SO MANY LARGE HERBIVORES (dinosaurs). The plant life was abundant enough to support such large creatures, not like today. Professional farmers use it in greenhouses to increase plant growth. Greenhouse Carbon Dioxide (Co2) Enrichment Products at Home Harvest Garden Supply

SAMPLE RESULTS FROM CO2 ENRICHMENT STUDIES
BIBB LETTUCE
By adding CO2 to the atmosphere around the plant, a 40% crop increase was achieved. Whereas previous crops averaged 22 heads per basket, lettuce grown in the increased CO2 atmosphere (550 ppm) averaged 16 heads of better quality per basket.

CARNATIONS
CO2 levels to 550 ppm produced an obvious increase in yield (over 30%), but the greatest benefits were earlier flowering (up to 2 weeks) with an increased percentage of dry matter.

ROSES
The addition of controlled carbon dioxide provided a remarkable improvement in blossom quality, number and yield. Plants consistently produced many more flowers with 24 to 30 inch stems. Average yield was increased by 39.7%.

TOMATOES
Work in experimental stations has shown that crop increases of as much as 29% have been obtained by increasing the CO2 concentration. More desirable firmness and more uniform ripening are also observed.
This is something that is being discussed more now outside of academic and farming circles. Rising CO2 ironically is greening the Earth worldwide. CO2 is a minuscule part of our atmosphere, especially compared to oxygen. Part of the wondrous cycle is that with more CO2, Oxygen production increases and more carbon is "sequestered" in dry plant matter. Absolutely amazing.

Yes, the levels of CO2 in past periods were more than 300-400% of today's levels and at times even higher. Plant life was so successful it provided sustenance to enormous land animals like brontosaurus. Think about the size of some of the dinosaurs, not nearly enough or rapid growth in many plants today could have supported so many behemoths.

Reducing CO2 will only brown the planet. But as has already been said, the Green movement is a death cult.

This guy at the Apple shareholder meeting couldn't have said it better, right to The Goreacle's face.

Al Gore a lightning rod at Apple shareholder meeting | Circuit Breaker - CNET News

Quote:
Shelton Ehrlich, stood at the microphone and urged against Gore's re-election to the board. Gore "has become a laughingstock. The glaciers have not melted," Ehrlich said, referring to Gore's views on global warming. "If his advice he gives to Apple is as faulty as his views on the environment then he doesn't need to be re-elected."

But, but, but, when YOU say its warm, like in Vancouver, that MUST be AGW, right?

The whole house of cards is collapsing - too bad it didn't happen BEFORE 100's of Billions of dollars went into the coffers of the scammers.

So true, and Vancouver's warm winter is due to El Nino, which has a host of other effects as well.

In fact, they knew that El Nino was going to bring an unusually warm winter last fall

El Nino may warm B.C.'s winter (http://www.vancouversun.com/news/Nino+warm+winter/1940691/story.html - broken link)

Now if one understood the "science" they wouldn't be shouting that every climatological event was "proof of global warming".

Remember the liberal mantra, tis for thee, not for me.

Those are not similarities, those are simply results and unrelated results at that. Your attempt to use Bush in this is a fallacious mention.
