I looked on this forum but couldn't find much if any reaction to Velma Hart. So what do you libs/dems think about her comments? None of my dem friends can be this honest. Funny how when Bush was president, I had to constantly hear their opinions of him and how worried they were but now I hear, lets agree to disagree or I don't like to talk about politics anymore.
She is entitled to her opinion just like everybody else. The fact it got heard by the President and on national television doesn't make any more or less important than any other American's opinion.
Normally, it would be time to fire up the pretty little liberal smear machine, but since she is one of them, her candor will be lauded or they will feign ignorance of her existence to avoid having an aneurysm from actually agreeing with a criticism of their leader.
See Joe the plumber for an example of what happens when a citizen from the opposition expresses their freedom of speech.
Right wing bafoons want to make it out that she's tired of defending Obama he's been too liberal or something along those lines.
She didn't say anything like that.
What she's likely thinking, but could not come out and say is that Obama has not done enough to fight for the middle classs.
The stimulus did not go far enough. The Health care bill did not go far enough. He's too cozy with Wall St. He's been to slow to end these wars.
Those are not Tea Party/GOP positions....those are liberal positions that Obama failed to deliver on.
