It's just that any criticism of the current Congress and/or President Obama is tainted as racist by the rabid supporters that have no other arguments.
And it is a shame, as we simply have no dialogue in this country.
And, for balance - the whackos on the right are no better.

Rush Limbaugh and others postulate that the health care bill is a form of "reparations".
I guess some could perceive it as such, but I have no evidence that he's advocating this just for the Blacks in our country. But, I do believe that its more of a class warfare issue.
No, this is not what he wants. Has nothing to do with race. Race is a red flag and the people are the dumb bull. Race discussion is a diversion.
The real problem is that the electorate has no idea what he wants and where he is heading as all his moves are isolated and piecemeal.
Obama is an enigma, he is an illsuion who leaves no tracks and hides his intentions.
Many deem him to be a leader and visionary as a product of their imagination.
Thus a nebulous Obama and his policies become a custom fit for every brand of supporter. Those supporters populate the far end of the political and social spectrum and all believe the shape shifting Obama will replace the basic tennants of mainstream America with their radical ideas. That is not going to happen. Unfortunately Obama and all he represents will not be treated kindly by history and he will be an embarassment to many of his mainstream supporters who felt they finally had a voice. Those embarassed people fortunately have an allegience to America and not a one term enigmatic president.
Obama's cigarette addiction is soooo appropriate as the blowing smoke represents his demonstrated deliverables as well as his mode of operation. It all blurry and interpretive. Obama is smokin!!!
