I know all of the news now is about the Lockerbie terrorist bomber going to Libya with BP in the middle but how come I'm not hearing hardly anything about the UK doctor who said the guy only had a short time (three months) to live? Now they are saying, the terrorist could live for another 10 years or more. Who is the doctor and what does he/she have to say? If the Senate checks into the issue, I hope they don't just gloss over the fact that a UK doctor could be so wrong on the issue of releasing a terrorist for supposed humanitarian reasons and being so way off on how long he had left to live.

"On Friday, the Scottish government said the deal had nothing to do with oil - only compassion. "We had absolutely no representations from BP," a government spokesman said. "Mr. Megrahi...was sent home to die according to the due process of Scots law, based on the medical report of the Scottish Prison Service director of health and care, and the recommendations of the Parole Board and prison governor.'"

Kin of Lockerbie bombing victims bash Scots for releasing Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, who's still alive

How is it that the US Senate can have anything useful to say about the medical opinion of a Scottish doctor?

I seem to recall they refused to allow other doctors examine him to give opinions. That they still deny it was about oil deals just shows what sociopathetic liars politicians are.

Their politicians are sociopaths, our politicians are sociopaths..
