Most Musicians, once in the major loop of recording, are told to "hush" about issues becuase it will polarize their careers and they don't wanna lose money.

And i believe in giving money for a good cause. But in these cases, just how do we know where the money is going, to the intended group, or in what hands will the money end up, i often wondered about this.
