Can you think of anything more pathetic than the image of these right-wingers cowering in a darkened room, not answering the door, all because they think the gummint is out there trying to find out their birthday?
the last census whacko that came by my house stood outside my door for 30 minutes, then when I finally went outside(I forgot she was out there..lol), she pops out from behind my tree like a jilted squirrel talking about "I knew somebody was in there hehe.." annoying as hell. then I remember questions like:
1. how many people live here?
2. do you have any dogs?
3. how many people drive cars?
4. does everybody that live here work day or night?
just to name a few. I kindly told her no thanks and got in my car. I know she felt stupid after standing there 30 minutes and then dropping her canned speech on me follwd by her very personal questions.
How I know she won't pass my info to some thug to come case my house?

LOL. But you'll use the government's roads, bridges, subsidized energy and live under the massive defense and other services they provide.

Considering all of those things except defense should be done on a local level, yes it IS amazing that our government has become so centralized and enormous. NOT what the Founding Fathers intended.

I think the "savings" or "rewards" cards at grocery stores are much scarier than the census. I don't want nobody knowing what brand of toilet paper I prefer. It ain't their business.
