and who would you think is a better choice?

I don't think that there should be any changes made to the currency at this time, there are far more pressing issues that congressman should be focusing all of their attention on- BUT- if they were to make changes-I would remove Jackson from the twenty, and remove Grant from the 50-instead of a crappy president like Reagan put on any currency, I would rather see Thomas Jefferson on one of the paper currency bills myself-founding father, president, author of the Declaration of independence, Louisiana purchase, architect, agriculturist, inventor- he is on the nickel already, but Lincoln is on both the penny and the 5-
- FDR, Teddy Roosevelt, Truman, there are plenty of Presidents or Founding Fathers that deserve to be honored way before we scrape the barrel and settle on someone like Reagan to put on our currency-

A N.C. congressman wants to replace U.S. Grant on the 50 dollar bill with Ronald Reagan- I don't see why Grant should be replaced- he might not have been the greatest of presidents, but the man won the Civil War for the U.S.- if he were to be replaced I think there are other presidents that would be better replacements than Reagan-
What about Teddy Roosevelt? FDR is already on the dime. JFK is already on the half dollar. It really doesn't have to be a President, does it? Martin Luther King comes to mind.
hey, I could buy some of your suggestions as well!! I just asked the question who?
And I happen to feel right now we have enough to worry about other than who should be on what>>. (well maybe that didn't come out quite right)
Of course I might add, and I am not trying to get into a deep we versus they shooting match, but what did JFK do to get on the half dollar? Does it have to be a President? I would say, right now, yes, but times can change...

Crappy Presdent, great President? These are and always will be a matter of opinion especially when the general public is commenting...Opinion isn't fact..we all have ours..but we are not always correct or objective..Wouldn't you agree?
I'd rather see a 50 with this guy.
Not much difference.
