But yes I agree Ron Paul is a RINO as per your reasons listed.
He's what the Republican party SHOULD stand for.
I don't know who would truly represent what the Democratic party SHOULD stand for though but we should find one so these guys can be held up as examples of their parties beliefs.
Those are the true roots of the parties..not the extremists that have taken over the two parties today.

i don't think this is an accurate description of Ron Paul...he's definitely not "mainstream", but he's certainly IMO a Conservative.

I disagree. Ron Paul is conservative but not a Conservative.

i see what you're saying...i've seen the word "RINO" used before, but always wondered what was being reffered to by it, and just actually looked it up!

Yeah..he's not part of the Conservative Party.
He's more of a Libertarian.
