Bill Clinton did, GWB did, Reagan did. But Obama has not given an inch. As a result he has accomplished virtually nothing. He could probably get some kind of health care plan passed if he coupled it with tax cuts or some other republican agenda item. It's basic negotiating skills. You give a little so you can get a little. Buying a house, a used car, new salary, etc.

I guess this is what we get for electing a rookie who's never worked in a business, never negotiated a deal, and never worked with people with opposing viewpoints. He's learning on the job and we're all paying for it.

Maybe you aren't paying any attention to the news. This was all over the headlines just the other day:

he can "explore" all he wants, but i don't see him putting much of that exploration to good use!

i like to keep things simple...and from a simple man's point of view, it's clear this plan of his, isn't what the majority of Americans want. If he were a smarter man, he would either back out entirely, and focus on something more significant to what needs to be done, or go back to the drawing board on Healthcare and make it right.

Why can't this president compromise?

He does not need to. His party has both Houses of Congress.

If you think you're smarter than Obama (and it sounds like you do), then call the White House and give them your advice.

You do know the the Republicans have been screaming for this ever since it became clear that they would try to kill this measure every chance they got, and the President finally got tired of their B.S....now they want to start over!!....give me a break. It's nothing more than an opportunity to say "NO" some more.

Because he is not Reagan, Clinton or GWB......for one thing.

He is anti-Capitalist........a complete 180 from anything Reagan was.
He's a Socialist who prefers Communism and has ties to many known Commie radicals and Marxists leftovers from the 60's.
Throw in Chicago-style politics (Mob Rules)....and nobody should be surprised.

Well financed by the Progressive movement and George Soros to help ensure that America's economy doesn't truly recover.....or better yet......completely collapses so he (they) can get their idea of a fundamental transformation for America......underway at full throttle.
Their "idea" of HC reform would greatly ensure far more power, control and govt. dominance over the American people in a way that would make their ultimate goals.....far easier and quicker to achieve.
This is WHY.....it is a must that BO gets his way and as soon as possible.
For if not.....the resulting temper tantrum could be unprecedented in modern-day politics.

The GOP in the House/Senate.....are only representing the wishes and the will of the American people.

The Dems and this administration have CHOSEN to IGNORE the will of the people.

They have CHOSEN......political suicide for their party but for those who accepted some wonderful bribes.....I mean, encouragement to conform with BO's agenda and his HC "reform"......I guess they figure it'll be worth it.....when the door hits them in the ass on their way out next November.

Absolutely. Even when he embraces their proposals and says he'll include them in the health care bill, they turn around and say that they still can't vote for it. If anyone's unable to compromise, it's the stubborn Republicans.
