Which American doctors tell anyone to withhold medical care from the old and unhealthy?

From the article:
"Smokers, heavy drinkers, the obese and the elderly"

Can you imagine American doctors withholding medical treatments from the obese? 50% of the adult population would have medical treatments withheld.

SO.. to some people..

Government steps in. Government insurance reduces payments to private sector. Government screws those without government insurance by forcing higher costs. Government causes massive reduction in quality and quantity of good medical doctors.

Of course the answer would be more government!

Government is a disease masquerading as its own cure.

Don't treat the old and unhealthy, say doctors - Telegraph

Did you even read the Article. It is NOT what the National Health Service does, it is what DOCTORS PROPOSE. I'm sure a lot of Health Insurance Comppanies will be dropping smokers, alchoholics, Diabetics and the Obese

He said he can't afford to continue to treat old people. He did not say the national policy should be to withhold medical treatments from old people.

He didn't say he can't afford it, he said he's not willing to.

It's what UK's National Health Service doctors propose, is it not?

Are you willing to work for 8 months without getting paid? Or are you ignorant and greedy, too?

You have patients every day. Therefore you'll get paid every month. Even if you didn't, he still did not say he can't afford taking them.

Medicare needs reforming. Payment amounts and process are part of the needed reform. There are some members of Congress trying to expand on how Medicare works, among many other things. Do away with a lot of the waste and evaluate the processes.
