Of course we do. It's what politicians do. And, I am amazed that more people do not see through it.

True. But, it is difficult to erase the stain and memory of having your country controlled by a dictator for decades and said dictator was propped up by America.

OK. I'm glad you're free to not be a liberal. No true liberal would ever deny you that right.

Yawn. Achmed-I'm-a-in-a-jihhad lost all credibility in the 1970's when he played a major role in holding US citizens hostage in Iran.

Did we lose credibility when we propped up the Shah who had certain opponents of his regime "disappear" over the years?

You got the memo, you just choose to ignore the fact that the minions of the "progressive" movement believe that the United States is unworthy of its status as a superpower. You and your ilk believe that the United States is a dying breed and that its now time for another country to have a chance to effect world policy. Denying knowledge of that fact now, here on this forum, is a weak but expected response. Open your eyes. Your Messiah Obama made it clear through his world tour that the US deserves nothing but admonishment. And he's succeeding, thus people like Ahmedinejad feel empowered. Thank you, clueless progressives, for your continued service to this country. You've successfully emboldened our enemies in the name of "free love for all."

Thanks to Bush, who listened to his gang of Vietnam dodging war mongers when they pushed to invade Iraq (which they wanted to do even before 9/11 gavethem the perfect excuse to do so)-we have an Iraq that is now heading towards being under the political influence of Iran and this crazy leader- in ten years time Iraq will be politically in step with Iran and will be another Anti-American influence in the MidEast-
Bush picked out the least threatening of the countries that pose a threat to the U.S. to invade- Iran and North Korea were, at the time of our invasion of Iraq, and are way more of a threat than Saddam ever was-

A great example of why church and state should be separate, as best as you can.
