Canadian emergency rooms were socialized in the 60's,and the only type of cross border visits palin has ever alluded to(her brothers burned foot etc) would have been emergency room visits So her parents didn't want to pay profit motive frontier docs I would'nt either I don't think 6 yr old palin was calling the shots on where her family got health care.If i needed medical attention I'd want the quickest route to care i could find If a canadian hospital was closest, so be it Once again,the medias hatred for all things palin trumps reason and facts..

"or something" = 1961 was when all 10 provinces had universal hospital care programs. national health care was passed in 1966. 1971 was when the system they have now was fully implemented, but the beginnings of the system were firmly in place on a provincial level by the time palin would have been using it.
that being said, she was a kid, so i can't see holding this against her.

Sure you can but I see alll these Palin threads as nothing more than Palin Derangement Syndrome. She is not holding any office and destroying this country, unlike hussein obama. If she went to a doctor across the border because it was closer to where she lives (you would be amazed at how many border dwellers do this on both sdes), it is nothing but the left wingers lame attempts to attack her.

and why shouldn't he? regardless of how she may feel, we all have paid taxes for these programs and until dad starts to pay child support mommy has every right to using this system...
