I don't care what party is in the White House.

This is just a terrible waste of money and paper!

Today I received a letter from the US Department of Commerce, Economics and Statistics Administration/US Census Bureau informing me that, "About one week from now, you will receive a 2010 Census form in the mail."

It is awfully kind of them to forewarn me, lest I be confused by an envelope bearing a Census in the next week or so.

In the spirit of being shovel ready I am looking at a federal project that involves adding much needed earthquake protection to a federal facility not far from Orlando, Florida.

Easy to understand considering the devastation earthquakes have caused all over Florida the past 200 years or so.

A million here, a million there... well spent cash.

The pre-census mailing is likely a bailout for the post office employees (postal union of course).
