From the polls I have seen he lost independents in large numbers but kept most of his Democrat base. There are those on the far left who have turned against him because they don't think he is liberal. enough. There are some who love Obama due to the cult of personality and will support him no matter what he does.
Obama is showing a surprising lack of political skill - after his campaign I expected a lot better. Not only is he losing his base, he's losing independents and some moderates. Nothing every president doesn't have to go through but Obama seems to have a unique gift of antagonizing both the fringe and the center. And all but de-energizing a young group of first time voters who enthusiastically supported his campaign.
Politically speaking, he is a lost puppy and needs to get a game. Quickly.
Obama had no experience or the detailed vision necessary to establish a base. He demonstrated no practical reason upon which to base a vote.
All Obama ever had was just enough voters who wanted to be part of an historic election.
Those who voted for Obama have come to find out a presidential election has more impact on their lives than does a vote for an American Idol finalist. Apparently the two 'shows' were indistinguishable in the mind of just enough voters. What a travesty!
The Nobel Peace Surprise pretty much sums up Obama's turn at president....both based on nothing tangible. Both floating on the mist of vague and nebulous perception.
Obama's base generates just enough air to fill a mylar birthday balloon.
I knew he was a corporatist from day one and it's precisely why I didn't vote for him.
I told my girlfriend he'd end up dissapointing many and there ya go...I was right.
I'd prefer Kucinich as President...but that's just me.
Sanders: Obama Has Tragically Lost The Youth, Antagonized Unions
Quote:
A trio of the Senate's leading progressives expressed concern on Wednesday that President Obama has squandered the transformational political coalition that propelled him into office, concluding that he will pay a price for it.
I sure hope he pays for it, along with the democrats who supported shoving a radical liberal agenda down the throats of the American people.
Quote:
"I think what we have got to re-engage in, is a progressive clear agenda," he added. "I think we have got to go out and rally the American people, get the young people involved again... and engage the grassroots in this country in a significant political battle as we bring forward simple straightforward progressive legislation that takes on the special interests."
Please, I beg you, do continue on that road. Since obama has resuscitated his extremely unpopular obamacare, his poll numbers continue to go south.
His new poll numbers are showing us that he is becoming totally ineffective on any issue.
This failure to accomplish a single major thing is killing him.
Not long ago he said he was going to work on jobs, what does he do? The next day he goes right back to ram his fraud HC down our throats again.
Will someone please tell this fool to stop working on HC and start working on the 5 million new jobs he promised?
Someone needs to tell the nutcase we need JOBS, not some scam HC bill that the majority of us do NOT want.
Its JOBS stupid Barry, JOBS.
Obama is tanking again thanks to his one failure after another.
OBAMA is a LAME DUCK WALKING
Was Reagan a lame duck in 1982??
