Kucinich willing to cast the vote that kills health reform

Labels it a 'bailout' for the insurance industry
Facing razor-thin margins in the House, Democratic leaders are hoping to convert the sole liberal who opposes their health care bill, but it seems they have their work cut out because he isn't budging.

Not dead, but barely hanging on. Pelosi doesn't have the numbers yet...it would've gone to vote if she did. It will go down to the wire..pass or fail by one or two votes only.

YES! Healthcare reform is not only dead - it never made it to the operating room.

However, INSURANCE MANDATES are alive and kicking and our Prez sez he and Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Reid are gonna push it through.

It's not going to happen for the simple reason of self preservation. Politicians are not going to risk their seat over this mess. The Blue Dog Democrats are scared after seeing the Scott Brown victory. They serve conservative districts that are opposed to this. Politicians always look out for themselves first. They won't get the votes without Blue Dog support.

Sadly, what is going on is a lot of strong-arming and pressure put on anyone who opposes w/in the DEM party.

I don't think ONE Democrat will dare vote against this legislation when it comes up, b/c they know they will become total outcastes, and can't get a bill to the floor, and will be rendered totally useless as a legislator if they oppose.
