Can we just leave gay people alone already. I'm sure they must be sick and tired of people worrying about them and how they got there. They just are who they are.

My friends and I have compared notes, and a larger portion of our gay friends are younger siblings than are older siblings - purely anecdotal, but there you have it. Please consider that it makes sense from an evolutionary perspective.

A gay younger sibling would be less likely to start their own family in prehistoric times. After the older siblings reproduced, the younger sibling(s) would be available to help raise the children, ensuring that the family's genes survived, if not their own specific genes. One of the few non-religious arguments against homosexuality is that some people interpret it as an evolutionary dead end -but it is anything but.
