Indeed.

That is why methodology is crucial.
And if you compare the methodology employed in THES and the lack of methodology and peer review in AWRU, it is plain to assert that THES is more reliable.

Are you attempting to make a statement ?
Or are you asking a question.

Talk about mangling the Queens English.

University of Illinois?

I don't know the point that you're attempting to make here.
Could you clarify the point that you're trying to make please?

It's contagious.
You colonial types are spreading your bad spelling via cyber space.

Quarantine, I say!

I already posted it earlier. The list in the OP has the University of Illinois Chicago ranked #63, and #71 last year. However, UIC is a third tier university, ranked 134-190, US. The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) is the flagship university of the University of Illinois system and is ranked #39, US. Are the Brits so provincial that they would think a school in Chicago would outrank a school in Urbana? Do the makers of this list know the difference? Apparently not.

Well, I graduated with a degree from a University that was ranked 15th on the list the OP cites, but feel no better because of that. I'm proud of my achievement but feel that a lot of universities are running a racket in America these days. Particularly at graduate level.

In fairness to America, as bad as it is, it was never a penal colony.

What were your antecedents convicted of?

Not impressed by your substition of 'ancestor' with 'antecedent'. Nice try (though). Sorry to disappoint but none of my known antecedents were convicted of any crime. And how did your antecedents survive with subpar dental hygiene? And please try to stay on topic; you are the originator of this thread.
