Millions of Americans are still attempting to recover from the devastation of the last 8 years of descrution by a corrupt president and his good old boys administration.
Yet, when we finally elect a man of compassion, sensitivity, intellect and foresight you can't bear it because of his name or his skin color.

We didn't elect just any black man, we were blessed with Barack Obama!
Harvard educated, eloquent speaker, community activist, author and nobel prize winner.

Get over it already. The whining is boring and repetitive.

Originally from Hawaii, Obama is a graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, where he was the president of the Harvard Law Review. He was a community organizer in Chicago before earning his law degree. He worked as a civil rights attorney in Chicago and taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago Law School from 1992 to 2004.

and why can't people like yourself realize we don't care if he's white or black. We don't like the direction he's taking this country.

What sailordave said.
You are the one making it about race, moon.
I'm a gay minority woman, and I cannot stand this guy's policies.

I don't believe it for a minute. The country was in a tailspin before he was elected..and now it's his fault???. I might have been born during the day, but it wasn't yesterday.

I'm not talking about the current economic crisis. I'm talking about the direction he's taking the country towards socialism (federal government controlled health care and the taking over of private industries).

We are harder on the way Jimmy Carter left this country during his administration.... and he is lilly white...

Keep grasping at imaginary straws. Start thinking instead of assuming. Realize that the actions of a few sick and twisted individuals do not speak for the vast majority.

It would be like me saying all blacks are racist because of a small group like the panthers

Previous idiocy does not excuse current idiocy.
This idiocy has its own direction. And I find it much more abhorent.

It's time for all patriotic Americans to stand up to the commies in our government. When they erect the 100 foot tall statue of Lenin in Washington DC, that will be too late.

Don't bother sailordave. People like this have far more insidious racial issues than we can possibly imagine.

I didn't vote for a black president or a white president. I voted for THE PERSON.
My vote was for the person of my choice. Color excluded.
I admit I didn't vote for Obama. Not because of color.
I thought he was an all talk person with no experience in running a nation.
From what he has done so far, I think I was right.
He is still campaigning. I hope he is a one term president and that there is someone out there who is smart enough and loves the country enough to try to reverse both Obama's and Bush's ruination of our country.
Bush was terrible. Obama has no idea about how to correct past mistakes.
He thinks just spend, spend, spend, will make everything alright and taking care of big money grubbers.
Well, it wont make everything alright.
IMO, he has become a puppet of the radicals who lust for a one world government who wants to control everyones lives 24 hpurs a day.
