I wonder if Obama's speech last night has anything to do with his ratings:

47% Approve
45% Disapprove

That was before the speech last night. Gallup uses a three day rolling average, so only 1/3 of the interviews were from yesterday and considering the time of the speech the vast majority of the interviews from yesterday were prior to the speech.

People that are swayed simply by his meaningless speeches are silly.

I was wondering where you got that quote from then realized it was from page 1 of this
thread, from way back in March!

You mean that 45% of the people disapprove of him?

For such a wildly popular guy,a lot of people don't like him....

Do you find it kind of sad when you need to crow that only 45% of the country disapproves of your guy???

What did the so popular one start at 70% range?

Maybe we should get a new TANKER in our military and name in after him once it falls over the cliff like our country and economy has done under him.

Can you say tanking, or toast, or lame duck.

His speech was pathetic and the smart people in America have figured his agenda out, that is why he has dropped the most by any sitting Pres ever.

Poor guy needs to start looking for another job soon.
