Technically they are poor and unemployed. Now if they rather eat one good piece a fish a week, rather than a plate with chicken EVERY night..that's their choice. Just sayin'.

And to think, almost 27 years ago, new baby, $3500 total income for me, a bit less for my wife, in all of 1983, my wife and new daughter (and I) couldn't even qualify for WIC. Let alone food stamps or heating help.

I can see your being mad. But fix the economy and they wont be getting food stamps because they will be getting a job.
