Birthers beware: Hawaii may start ignoring your repeated requests for proof that President Barack Obama was born here.

As the state continues to receive e-mails seeking Obama's birth certificate, the state House Judiciary Committee heard a bill Tuesday permitting government officials to ignore people who won't give up.

Good. The state is wasting time and money responding to these people.

Lets all also be clear what the regulations actually mean. The only request that would be turned down would be from those with who make repeated request after their inquiry was answered.

Let me be perfectly clear, (pregnant pause): If Hawaii just produced the vault copy of Obama's birth certificate the requests would end and this never would have been an issue for conversation.

Well just maybe if they would give us the ORIGINAL long form birth certificate we would not keep asking. Keep ignoring us and you will regret it in the end. I can guarantee that not only will he go down as being the worst president ever and an illegal one at that but he would be the first non citizen president at that. They want a non white president they will break the law to make sure it happens and stays, just like the Democraps plan on breaking the constitution in passing the health care bill because know it won't go through if they don't.

They shouldn't have to. No other president has had to do this and by saying that the copy that has been provided contains false information, you are accusing the state of Hawaii of forgery. If they are capable of doing this, the vault copy can be forged as well so what difference does it make? This is a waste of time and if I were a Conservative with legitimate concerns, I would distance myself as far from birthers as possible. They are nothing but a bunch of frothing at the mouth idiots. Get over it, he won whether you like it or not.

No other president has ever had to show that he was born in this country or in a territory owned by the u.s? Hmmm I doubt that seriously I bet EVERY president and person running for public office has had to prove that he or she is a citizen. We made sure Mccain was and he more than gladly offered his up but Obama refuses means he has something to hide.

No, clearly what I said was that no other president had to produce a vault copy. Did McCain? The president's birth certificate was made public and the state confirmed that he was born there. That should be enough. When was the last time people made such a big deal over something this petty? Can you prove that the last president or the ten before him produced a vault copy of their birth certificates? He has already proven that he is a citizen to the people that matter and since birthers don't, no need to waste any more time on this. He won, get over it.

You lose (the bet). There is actually anecdotal evidence that one president was born in Canada. No one had to show a birth certificate before. Who's this "we" that made McCain show proof?

the only thing I found strange about pbo's beirt certificate was the fact that when he was born, the worth negro was used for race, not the word african american.

to me it suggests that the birth certificate was made when it was asked for, not when he was born.
