Certainly a good sign of the change that will no doubt come in time:

"Overall, 65% of the college freshmen surveyed last fall supported same-sex marriage, compared with 58% of Americans 18 to 29 years old and 39 percent of the population nationwide, according to the Pew research groups' study."

And interestingly, 24% of the "most conservative college students say that same-sex couples" should be able to legally marry.

That is pathetic. That many people are still against it. By 2010 I would have expected figures to be at least 80% for. 20% against.
Especially for the young crowd.

I'm not a baby boomer and I don't support gay marriage. What thinks that when people of a certain age die that their beliefs will go with them.

Those old SOBS are living longer these days. However, obesity seems to be a major problem for them. Lets hope that has an effect on eradicating the bigotry.

But seriously, I think it is really pathetic when people actually poll the public about these non-issues and people are actually voting against something that is a non-issue. Gay sex and gay marriage doesn't affect you unless you are engaging in it. Duh.

Sadly, your type of arrogance and narcissism lives on and on. When will you realize that everyone is not going to live exactly how you live? Will you realize that ever? Probably not.

All gays do is whine about how people dont accept them "omg we're victims" comparing their issues with marriage laws to the struggles of black people before and during the civil rights movement. what a joke. black people were lynched and murdered, gays rub their way of life in everyone's faces with their corny little rainbow flags and disgusting parades in every major city, trying to make it as though a man liking balls is "a-ok" lol
i was born in the mid 80s every generation that has come after has been getting dumber and dumber so its not surprising that those polls show what they show

I love when hideously fat southern religious women complain about how "gross" it is seeing two men hold hands. Meanwhile these tubbies can't even walk, they waddle, and their poor husbands have to take blue pills just to look at them naked without vomiting, let alone having sex with them.

Ever thought that they might not do this if it didn't have the shock value? If they had their parade and no one cared (similar to a heterosexual parade). Whether someone 'likes balls' or not is really of such little concern to me and not letting them marry is absurd. If we didn't like people with blue eyes have equal rights I'm sure there would be "Blue Eyed and Proud" parades as well.
