a citizens arrest can be made for any misdemeanor or felony, and you are under less restraints than the police or security oficers.

Tell us how it goes. The only problem is if the courts and police decide you are wrong you have a possibility of facing kidnapping charges, even assault if you decide to use force that "arrest" (or decide you used "excessive force", even if it is somehow justified). You won't have a police union or organization having your back either.

Not always. Another guy and myself made a citizens arrest in Missouri a few years ago for a DWI hit and run accident. We chased the guy down and held him until the cops showed up. Naturally, we had to "restrain" him a little and he began yelling that we'd assaulted him.

The cop told me that someone making a citizens arrest in Missouri cannot be charged if he got a little rough with the perp. So, I said, "You mean we missed a chance to beat his azz?"

"Yep."

PS- Unlike the police, you are not indemnified from civil or criminal prosecution if you are wrong so I REALLY suggest that you REALLY READ Article III, Section III and the subsequent legal opinion about what constitutes treason.

That you KNOW what levying War means. That you UNDERSTAND what it means to adhering to an Enemy, and the historic meaning of giving Aid and Comfort. These are very specific terms, with very specific and historic meanings.

Treason isn't about some semi-literate nit-wit with a bone to pick with an elected official.

Let me guess, the OP is either an idiot or the educational system in the US is further down the toilet than I ever dared to believe.

Peaceful protest is not treason. It is practicing the First Amendment's affirmation of freedom of speech in the finest form of political freedom on the face of this planet. Bad behavior is sometimes criminal but it rarely treason (except Adam Gadahn, Jihad Jane and their ilk).
