i don't think we should just limit it to israel. i think we should be stopping aid to all foreign countries until we get our own house in order.

i will admit that israel is our only "ally" to blow up one of our ships, the USS Liberty, and get away with it.

where was the war talk then?

Makes me wonder what this president has created....racism booming more then ever...anti semitism higher then ever...wow what a hope and change!

Remember that before you all are stating things about Israel...Israel is a country that contributed a lot to this country with their science, etc... many of the other countries that Obama is now supporting are only supporting hate, throwing stones and doing nothing then blowing them selfs up for money...
and having the US spent more in oil!

Why isn't Obama starting to do anything about drilling for oil near or in the US....guess agian...why is he bowing to the King of Saudi....

In 50 years ,USA gave to Israel 106b...( The real total figure ,I admit, may be higher...)

Let's calculate the billions in taxes that USA "collected"from the Jews in USA,who ...flock the high-income zones..
Income tax ( 70% till 1982),estate tax ( 55% till...recently,now at 45% )...
Even as capital gains, the tax was from 35% to 20%...

So,"the Jews" in USA paid dearly for that aid...

I vote to dump the entire foreign "aid" budget (aka payments to war-lords all over the world in a laughable attempt to buy influence from people who despise us). We're broke and generations in debt. No money to give away, let alone pay for the government promising carte-blanche payments to the health care insurance industry. We can't even pay for the entitlements promised to our own citizens (and constantly expanded by our great leader), and yet "foreign aid" is untouchable as we talk about slashing Social Security and Medicare? Time to wake up, Americans.

If you love Israel or any other foreign country, feel free to send all your money there.

Our ships pass through with no problem , Iran has a large navy, hmm . Crack a history book and find out what part during WW2 that port played . Israel is not poor , we pay them because we need them .

What do you think? Should the US dump Israel or not?

At what point will the West dump Israel?
"US taxpayers have every reason to feel that Israel, as the largest single recipient of US foreign aid, is already a massive financial liability. Even so, since most of those tax dollars get plowed straight back into the US defense industry, Washington is unlikely to become more attentive to the concerns of ordinary American citizens than it is to the interests of its corporate sponsors.

Nevertheless, there is now reason to think that with the murder of Mahmoud al Mabhouh in Dubai, Israel crossed a line that strains the limits of Western tolerance."

What If the US Dumps Israel?

I look at it this way, if the USA dumps Israel, and Israel goes to war against the other hebrew hating countries, then do not be suprised if they all of a sudden start dropping nukes to save their butts.

also do not be suprised if Israel starts doing preemptive attacks for their own survival.

And deal with the consequences it would deserve, doing so. Should not be any of America's business. Protect our borders and be done with it... the conservative thing to do that, likely, would not bode well with "conservatives" here though.

I would not say "dump" them but they need to understand that the patience of the American public is starting to wear thin and they are not going to be able to spit in our faces and disrespect us much longer without consequences. Kudos to Hillary, I think they are finally starting to "get it" over there. Yes we do enjoy a special relationship with Israel but it is a 2 way street.

It really is amazing how simpleton Americans support the zionist agenda even more than Israeli civilians.
