Obama on House health vote: A vote's a vote - Health care reform- msnbc.com

WASHINGTON - President Barack Obama indicated Wednesday that he does not oppose plans by House Democrats to pass his much-challenged health care overhaul without a direct vote.

"I don't spend a lot of time worrying about what the procedural rules are in the House or Senate. What I can tell you is that the vote that's taken in the House will be a vote for health care reform," Obama said in an interview with Fox News.

"If people vote yes, whatever form that takes, that is going to be a vote for health care reform," he said in an excerpt of the interview to be aired later Wednesday evening. "And I don't think we should pretend otherwise."

Ohh lookie.. When you have to post photos of Bush over, and over, it shows the inability to discuss the issue.. Why bother?

Apparently, the interview with Fox was quite combative.

I guess he didn't like being reminded of all his promises, his many lies, his empty rhetoric.

Remember when Bush was "taken out of context" when he said he did not worry much about Osama Bin Laden?

I find it amusing (and pathetic) that some people use this forum solely as a vehicle to vent against President Obama. Does the President really irritate them that much? Perhaps they should focus on something else. Seriously. A 15-minute break might do them some good.

Obama in the interview w/ Bret Baier:

"By the time the vote has taken place, I will know what is in it, and you will know." *Notice the use of the past tense.

And a few breaths later "everybody knows what is in the bill" * present tense

"the final text will be posted several days before this passes" * future tense

Which is it Mr. President????
