Unlike you I would like blacks to have jobs and jobs that pay enough to live on. Where there is a majority of blacks in a neighborhood there is also lots of crime. When you can support your family better on welfare than you can on a minimum wage job with no benefits it makes no sense to work.

You could also argue, and I will, that when crime pays better than either welfare OR a minimum wage job, rational folks will choose crime (rational in this case is an economic term). So, it should not be much of a surprise that in areas of high poverty, few jobs, limited welfare benefits one would find higher crime rates. Duh!

Don't need to, I was taught that lesson in economic by folks doing serous time. As they explained it to me it is a simple cost/benefit analysis and prison is just another cost of doing business.
Has anyone ever bothered to ask whether the other 43 Presidents of the US represented all whites?
Seems to have not crossed majority of people's minds until we finally have a president of different races.
