The elite being out of touch.... isn't that the very nature of the condition? Ivy league, Ivory towers, rules for thee but not for me.

And the general population of idiots deserve nothing better, as exemplified by this and many other topics under debate.

Half the nation demands tyranny under the direction of democrats, while the other half were demanding it from republicans. One can only conclude that the American people want tyranny ... they just have a flavor preference.

Do you want your crap sandwich on wheat or white? That really is the only argument being bantered about, with very few exceptions who recognize that they are all frauds and liars.

The Republicans in Congress have had an anti-Obama chip on their shoulder since Nov 5, 2008 - the "goal" was to make certain that nothing bi-partisan took place that would benefit the legacy of the Obama administration. And fortunately (or unfortunately, in my opinion) they also have the likes of Rush Limabugh, Glen Beck, Ann Coulter, Sarah Palin and the Faux News network at their disposable to spread their hate gospel.

One only has to look at the "warm and friendly" reception that was given to Michael Steele to understand the root of the Republican anti-Obama war path.

The most telling thing is that the Republicans allowed GWB to sink this country into a depression without raising a single voice. Yet they attempt to mock President Obama as a visionary and the new type of American leader.

What the Republicans are really doing is something that most women and people of color have seen or dealt with before. Its like being the only Black person (or Latino or woman) working for a company, doing a stellar job and getting promoted yet having your co-workers attempt to sabotage your leadership because they don't believe that you deserve it.

But what is really sad is that the Republican party would rather let Americans suffer than give President Obama a "win". Shameless and evil.
Sounds like a Civil War is brewing. Instead of North vs. South...it's Democrat vs. Republican. Maybe we should just keep voting them all out until we find some who can get along and govern this country the way it was intended to be governed.

According to the matrix, he was an anti-government terrorist. Now we can't go around teaching our children about terrorists, can we?
